Our Mission
WTEF’s mission is to build life champions. For 70 years, the Washington Tennis and Education Foundation has connected DC children to the transformative power of tennis and education. We create the conditions for children and young adults to achieve their highest potential by developing meaningful values and critical skills that lead to lifelong success and leadership. We do this by providing high-quality tennis instruction, robust academic enrichment, and wellness programming in our core after-school and summer programs.

We empower them to achieve their highest potential by developing meaningful values and critical skills that lead them to life-long success.
